Haparanda Skärgård National Park
Haparanda Archipelago National Park consists of young islands that began emerging from the sea about fifteen hundred years ago. Land uplift, waves and wind have formed dunes, raised beaches, shingle and the three-kilometre sand spit at Sandskär.
